Support UW community members by shopping handmade and personally designed items at the Makers Fair!
What is the Makers Fair?
The Makers Fair is a learning opportunity for new or practicing vendors. This gives vendors the opportunity to build their business, network with their peers, and learn the intricacies of owning their own operation. Shoppers can support their local community by shopping small. Money goes back in the hands of their peers, AND they get unique treasures that can’t be found in major retail chains. Win-win! All are welcome to shop AND apply! While active Seattle-campus students receive priority in the placement process, staff, faculty, alumni, and local off-campus vendors are eligible to apply and receive table assignments.

The Makers Fair is committed to preventing the the sale of dropshipped items or AI creations. To do so, ALL vendors are required to also include a short video showcasing the creation of one of their items: Please state your name and business name in the video (do not do a voiceover) or write it on a piece of paper visible within the frame. You can attach this video by posting it on your social media (it has to be recent), including a YouTube link, or adding it to your public Google Drive. Videos will not be used for publication or advertising, only for vetting.
Makers Fair 2026-27
The Makers Fair is a quarterly 2 – 3 day fair (depending on the quarter). Please view the details below for specific dates and HUB locations. You can view the first floor map here.
- Fall | Tuesday, December 1st – Thursday, December 3rd | 11:00-3:00pm – HUB Street/Lyceum
- Winter | Wednesday, February 10th – Thursday, February 11th | 11:30-3:00pm | HUB Street/Lounge
- Spring | Tuesday, May 11th – Thursday, May 13th | 11:00-3:00pm – HUB Street/Lounge
