Artist Description: UW MFA 1998

Description: Although I am creating spaces using formal elements of landscape they relate in an impure sense of the word because of the elimination of all but the most elementary pictorial necessities. The materials I chose o use for their color, shape luminosity, transparency and malleability. My appreciation for landscape feeds my desire for an involvement with a process synonymous to a journey.
