Available Scholarships and Grants

The following scholarships are OPEN and available via a single D Center Joint Scholarship Application.
Deadline to apply: April 3, 2026

  1. Mary Ellen Waite Memorial Scholarship | Scholarships for students enrolled at the University of Washington who are paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair or other similar device as a result of an accident.
  2. John Armstrong Memorial Endowed Fund for Students | Scholarships for University of Washington students with disabilities.
  3. Robert H. Soper Endowed Scholarship Fund | For any student with a physical disability that limits one or more major life activities, with a preference for students who are paraplegic or quadriplegic.

To apply for any of the above scholarships, complete the D Center Joint Scholarship Application by Friday, April 3, 2026.

The D Center, its programming, and amenities are all sponsored by the Husky Union Building, Services and Activities Fee, and the Student Tech Fee.
