Conference activities will primarily take place in the Husky Union Building (HUB) located at 4001 E Stevens Way NE – Seattle, WA 98195. Some conference activities will occur at other campus locations.

Airport to Hotel

Link Light Rail
From SeaTac Airport to the UW Station, the Link Light Rail is a great way to see glimpses of some of Seattle’s well-known neighborhoods and end your trip next to Husky Stadium.

  • Ticket kiosks at all stations (cards accepted)
    • Fare will range from $2.25 to $3.25 depending on length of your trip
    • Day pass options are available
  • Operates from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday – Saturday; 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sundays
  • Guests of the Silver Cloud Hotel can arrange shuttle transportation to/from the UW Station. The shuttle runs 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. – first come, first served.

SeaTac Ride Share Shuttle
Ride share airport shuttles can be scheduled via phone (425-981-7000) or online.

  • Typically $40-50 (with a 15% gratuity; cards accepted)
  • Operates 24-hours a day; After 10 p.m. wait times may be longer than 30 minutes

App-Based Ride Shares (Uber/Lyft/Wingz)
There are three app-based ride share providers at Sea-Tac Airport: Uber, Lyft and Wingz. The majority of cars pick-up on the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage (see map for pick-up locations).

  • Typically $25-45 (depends on time of day, peak traffic hours are more expensive)
  • Operates 24-hours a day

  • Operates 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. – first come, first served
  • First drop off – 7 a.m. Last pick up – 9:45 p.m. Drop offs occur on the hour and half hour, while pick-ups occur fifteen minutes after and before each hour.

The University of Washington is easily accessible by train (Link Light Rail) and over 60 bus routes (King Country Metro; Snohomish, King and Pierce County Transit). If you plan to use public transportation, we suggest using King County Metro Trip Planner or OneBusAway to plan your trip.
